Aus dieser Bewertung werden einige Konzepte entwickelt. This dissertation discusses the development and the structure of FEZs on the international, national and local levels. It includes three parts: In Part A, the world economic integration and its relation with FEZs will be firstly discussed in order to explain FEZ's dominant role in the world economy and its development trend. A structural and spatial evolutionary model of FEZs on an international level will be developed based on a general definition, a factor system and a systematic typology of FEZs, which will improve the previous studies and provide a useful example for Chinese FEZs.
